Shampoo Bars are all the rage, whether you are travelling and don't want to carry liquids. You are looking for something more economical or you want to know exactly what it is you are putting in your hair.

Home made Shampoo bars are the best and in this blog we will show you how easily you can make your own.

We also have some special Shampoo bars recipes if you want some more inspiration (available for purchase in our recipes section)

AND - if you wish to sell them, we have now negotiated with them to be included under a group buy insurance policy we can share with you.

Makes 2 Shampoo Bars:

200gm RBB Ultra White Melt & Pour Soap Base
1 tsp (5ml) Olive Oil
5-10 drops Rose Geranium Fragrance Oil (Optional and can be changed)
1 drop Pink Pigment (optional - and no more as it can stain the hair - always test firstly)
2 Rectangle or Twin Cavity Round Clamshell Moulds/ Packages

Chop up your Melt & Pour soap base into a heatproof container and melt in the microwave in 20 second bursts until it is liquid -  around 60°C

Stir gently but quickly adding the olive oil, fragrant oil and pigment.

Pour mixture into the clamshell moulds (or any other mould), ensuring the soap is not too hot and allow to set. (Don't move the containers at this stage, just allow to set)

Once set and cool you can close the lids and using the RBB printable clear  or white adhesive paper, you can directly add your labels to the packaging if desired.

Use by gently rubbing a little through your hair then lathering up, rinse well and apply a good conditioner to make hair soft, clean and silky.
